About Ibrahim Pasha Mosque
It is the oldest Mosque in Rhodes built in 1540 by Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent; it is still functioning till now.
Situated at Platonos Square; the mosque was maintained in a good shape over the years; the minaret was restored by the Italians in the 20th Century, and can be seen from all sides of the Medieval City as well as from outside the walls.
There is an octagonal fountain facing the Mosque and the entrance is beautiful with a nicely decorated domes.
The interior is covered by a set of carpets, and the prayer times are updated on an electronic panel.
