Monastery of Panagia Ypseni

Beautifully sited in the hills near Laerma. The nuns themselves are presently building a new church on the site which will be quite imposing when it is completed (hopefully by 2020!). The whole site covers several hectares all tastefully landscaped - the twelve stations of the cross leading up to the cross particularly so. The nuns are very welcoming offering biscuits and orange juice. The gift shop offers many of their own produced items.
