There are two exceptionally redeeming aspects to this church. First, its location is right at the mouth of the port, where reportedly the Colossus stood. So you definitely want to visit here if for no other reason then because of it's historical location.

But second, the church itself is beautiful and ornate beyond measure. The inside is breathtaking and it offers a quiet place to simply sit and soak in the surroundings.
