This Church is believed to be built during the times of the Knights between the 14th and 16th Century; it was converted to a Mosque during the Ottoman rule of Rhodes, but excavations revealed its origin as Church; restoration started in the late 20th century, but it is not completed yet as it is not opened to the public yet.
