Avgoustinos Psitopolio

The small village of Kalathos, not far from the most famous Lindos, boasts numerous restaurants and taverns opened in the summer season, but it was felt the lack of a place that provided the restaurant service even in winter. Now with Avgoustinos (Αυγουστινος as the sign reads), this deficiency is filled: located right on the road that crosses the country, between the pharmacy and a bakery, the large restaurant offers a wide variety of meats prepared in various ways. From gyros to souvlaki, from spit-roasted chicken to pork chops, not to mention the salads that are always very consumed in Greece and grilled cheeses. The restaurant is very informal and open from noon to midnight, with tables both inside and outside. The service is fast and friendly, the prices are absolutely affordable given the very large quantities served in the dishes!
